Ricoh R8 Digital Camera Review

The Ricoh R8 camera is nice, it's small, lightweight and packed with features and looks fantastic! After the unfortunate enough to own a Ricoh R7 (which was sent to Ricoh again) for the same mistake five times it's great to see that many of the Ricoh R7s has corrected errors. Many people were disappointed by previous Ricoh compact cameras, but the R8 should help to regain some of these people become discouraged.

Ricoh R8 features and specifications

ThisDigital camera is packed with skills, 10 million effective pixels, large 28-200 mm (35mm equivalent) zoom lens, 1 cm. Macro shooting distance, 2.7-inch TFT-LCD, SDHC memory card capacity and the approximate 270 Photo battery power. This Ricoh is also very quick to start-up and concentration is good, even in low light conditions. The R8 has all the usual compact camera features and much more.

Annoyances

Unfortunately, the design team at Ricoh have not yet figured out that they have theFlash, ie just above the right grip that sometimes blocked the lightning with his right hand with the camera. Other camera makers place the flash on the left side of the camera for a very good reason!

Ricoh R8 is worth buying?

Yes. The Ricoh is a compact, robust and powerful digital camera. Unfortunately, reliability problems with previous Ricoh digital cameras are the people pushing the purchase of the R8. I bought a Canon Powershot at the same time as the RicohR8 and expects to use Canon as my main camera. The Ricoh has outperformed the Canon compact digital camera as the household favorite.
